Taree Universities Campus | New era in tertiary education for MidCoast residents
Taree Universities Campus (TUC) will be opening soon and will offer university degrees in health, the social sciences, engineering and agribusiness.
TUC will bring local university partners together with industry and government, so young people and mature aged students can stay local, go to uni to get a qualification, and go on to get a job.
This has been made possible through an Australian Government grant announced on 1 June 2020 by the Hon Dan Tehan MP, Minister for Education and the Hon Andrew Gee MP, Minister for Decentralisation and Regional Education, which was finalised on 1 September 2020.
This is an exciting initiative and a win for both students and future employers. Mayo Private Hospital will proudly support Taree Universities Campus offering sponsorship and clinical placements.
