Dr Indu Gunawardena is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery and has extensive training and experience at leading hospitals in Australia and overseas.

Dr Gunawardena sees paediatric and adult patients, with special interests in paediatric and adult Sleep Apnea, Snoring, Rhinology, Allergy, Endoscopic Sinus Surgery and Head and Neck Oncology.

Dr Gunawardena prides herself on compassionate, patientcentred care and is passionate about delivering high quality ENT specialist services to the Central Coast community.

Dr Gunawardena has a strong interest in research areas including Head and Neck Oncology, Rhinology and Sleep Apnea surgery. She has presented and published her own research both nationally and internationally and strives to apply evidence based medicine to her clinical practice. She is the proud recipient of several research grants and awards for basic science and clinical research in Otolaryngology.
