100th Rosa Robotic Surgery at Mayo Private
Mayo introduced the ROSA Robot in May 2023 and Dr Le Roux couldn't be happier with the success robotic assisted surgery has provided his patients - "it's a game changer".
Exciting news in the world of Robotic Surgery again at Mayo Private this week with our very own Dr Johan Le Roux performing the 100th knee joint replacement surgery on a lovely local patient.
Dr Le Roux has been working on the Mid North Coast since 2012 in both the public and private sector staying current with orthopaedic trends and advancements.
This is Carol. Carol is the 100th Rosa Robot patient who underwent knee joint replacement surgery recently. Carol was up and walking the next day with our physiotherapy team, all part of the custom rehabilitation program our Allied Health Team provide for joint replacement surgery patients.
Carol is off on holidays with her new knee soon and looking forward to preparing for her other knee to have the Le Roux Rosa Robot surgery shortly after.
