Dr Adil comes to us from the Nepean Blue Mountains Local health District where he was Clinical Lead for Acute Services. He also held academic positions with the University of Sydney.
His initial psychiatry training was completed in India. He subsequently gained Specialist Psychiatry qualifications in the UK (MRCPsych and FRCPsych) and has recently achieved Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.
Dr Adil has moved to our area with his family and is already enjoying contributing to improved access to mental health care for our communities.
