A/Prof. Michael Wyatt is a Trauma and Orthopaedic surgeon that has recently moved to the beautiful Mid-North Coast, basing his family in Forster-Tuncurry.

He will be commencing twice weekly outpatient clinics at the Mid North Coast Specialist Suites at Mayo and Forster Private Hospitals as well as operating with regular lists at both Mayo and Forster Hospitals.

Areas of expertise include;

• Primary and Revision Total Hip Replacement - Exeter Fellowship trained hip surgeon and offer the latest minimally invasive posterior approach and robotic techniques
• Hip arthroscopy and hip Preservation surgery having trained in London, Switzerland and Melbourne
• Primary and Revision Total Knee Replacement - expert in the latest Robotic techniques
• Soft tissue knee surgery including arthroscopy, meniscal surgery and ACL reconstructions with Post Fellowship training with David Young at the Melbourne Orthopaedic Group
• Foot and Ankle surgery with Post Fellowship training with Dr Dean Pepper in Port Macquarie
• Trauma with Post Fellowship training in Switzerland

Dr Wyatt has a strong teaching and research pedigree and is an Associate Professor with a strong interest in Outreach Orthopaedics. He is a keen golfer, tennis player, Dragon Boater and we are very pleased to have Dr Wyatt join our local community.
