We are delighted to Introduce Dr Inaam Ullah at Mayo Private Hospital Taree NSW.
Dr Inaam Ullah is an experienced interventional and general cardiologist currently working as a Visiting Medical Officer at Mayo Private Hospital since October 2021. He is also a VMO at Tamworth Hospital and has worked as a Staff Specialist in Interventional cardiology at St George Public Hospital Sydney before starting at Mayo Private Hospital. He is dedicated to providing the best quality cardiac care to his patients.
After completing his MBBS, he undertook his Basic Physician Training at Prince of Wales Hospital Sydney and his three years of speciality cardiology Advanced Training at Nepean and Liverpool Hospitals in Sydney. He was awarded a fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2013.
Dr Ullah completed his sub-speciality Interventional Fellowship at Launceston General Hospital Tasmania and St George Public Hospital Sydney over two and half years.
After completing his fellowship, he went on to complete his PhD at the St George School of Medicine, University New South Wales. His main research was evaluating plasma lipoproteins in coronary artery disease. He has published in reputed national and international Journals and presented at national and international conferences.
Dr Ullah has an interest in interventional and general cardiology and provides interventional services at Mayo Private Hospital. His area of expertise:
- Coronary angiography, complex coronary intervention / stenting
- Evaluation of coronary lesions with physiological assessment using FFR, iFR, CFR and imaging modalities including IVUS and OCT
- Preventative cardiology
- Structural and valvular heart disease
Dr Ullah enjoys teaching medical students, registrars and fellows attached to the cardiac rotations. He is also multilingual and apart from English, fluent in other languages including Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi.
